Floating Witch Hats

I am in full fall/Halloween mode. This is one of my favorite decorated rooms for Halloween to date! I love the hanging witch hats. You can shop everything I have used to create this room on my LTK.

It was very easy and simple to do this. I stuck a needle with fishing line through the top of the hats and I tied the end at the length I wanted it to be from the ceiling. Our ceilings are pretty tall, so I had to use a ladder to attach these. Our ceiling is also bead-board, so I used a clear thumb tac to tac the fishing line into the ceiling. You can’t even see the tacs! It worked out perfectly.

Check out the video Reel I posted of this room to Instagram below!

Here is a closer look at my mantle decor. I love how you can see the floating hats in the mirror! SpoOkY!

This room did not feel complete without these witch hats! It definitely adds to the mysterious and spooky Halloween vibe. How are they hanging there? How did they get there? No one will know. 😉 If you’re feeling extra spooky, you can suspend tea light candles inside the hats so they will illuminate at night. I’ve added the ones with the remote control on my LTK so it is easier to turn them on and off.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a frightful night!
